Heavy duty frames as supporting surfaces for thick and heavy materials
Heavy duty frames have been specially designed for STM cutting systems. They are used over the whole width of the plant (bridge direction) between the cross-members screwed into cutting basin. The overall height of the frames has been chosen so that they fit under the standard grid position. Cutting can be performed with or without grids. Thanks to their height, the insertable panels used (120 mm high) ensure a long service life and, due to their curved arrangement, a high level of stability of the heavy duty frame. The rectangular insertable panels are very easy to make and replace.
Heavy duty frames are primarily used in cases where thicker (from about 40 mm) or heavier materials (300 kg/m²) need to be cut. They can be used flexibly with almost any material. They are very good for use with sensitive materials such as glass, etc., when they are fitted with rubber profiles on the top of the insertable panels.
