Plastic honeycombs are 20 or 28 mm in height and have a covering layer of nonwoven fabric at the top and bottom. Plastic honeycomb panels are used as an intermediate layer, and placed directly on the grid so that no reflections of the waterjet can occur at the grid.
Plastic honeycombs are primarily used for cutting lightweight materials such as nonwoven fabrics, laminates, foams, textiles, leather, and gasket materials, etc.
Aluminium honeycombs are between 20 and 50 mm in height and are supplied in 2,500 x 1,250 mm format or in special formats. Aluminium honeycomb panels are directly attached to the grid or inserted into the workpiece support frame.
Aluminium honeycombs are primarily used for cutting lightweight materials such as nonwoven fabrics, laminates, foams, textiles, leather, gasket materials, etc., as well as sensitive materials, where reflections of the waterjet must not occur.
