With waterjet cutting, parts of cellular or solid elastomers, composite panels or foils can be cut without worrying vapours or gases being given off. With a water pressure of up to 6,000 bar, even the largest pieces of plastic and wood can be cut precisely, without any thermal changes. With microjets, cutting the finest geometries is possible.
Advantages:
No heat influence
No worrying smoke or vapours are given off
Composite materials can be easily cut
Multiple layers can be cut
Complex and fine contours
