Research & development

Research and development are top priorities for us. Currently, Maximator-JET is actively involved in the following projects:

forschung_aifAiF - the German Federation of Industrial Research Associations "Otto von Guericke" e.V., in cooperation with the EUREKA network for market-oriented, industrial R&D

"OSZIJET" Project for Performance and Quality Improvement of Abrasive Waterjet Cutting: Through an innovative, controlled superposed oscillation mechanism of the jet nozzles, the forward motion of the waterjet abrasive cutting systems is to be optimised to improve its performance by up to 20%. Maximator JET is actively involved in adapting the novel OSZIJET waterjet cutting process for use in commercially viable large-scale plants.

forschung_awtAWT - Working Group on Waterjet Technology at the Leibniz University, Hanover
The AWT Working Group on Waterjet Technology was founded in 1991 to promote the use of waterjet cutting process in industry and development.

Currently, the AWT has more than 80 partners from nine different countries. In addition to exchanging experience both domestically and abroad, the group is working on new technological approaches. In this context, Maximator JET is especially committed to giving scientific discoveries economically viability.

forschung_fh_schweinfurtFH Würzburg-Schweinfurt
Maximator JET allows students at the Würzburg-Schweinfurt FH (University of Applied Sciences) to get familiar with waterjet cutting as an innovative production technology and to actively integrate it in their project work.

The project groups are able to use the waterjet cutting systems at the company's demonstration centre. We have also been supporting the University's Mainfranken Racing Team since its formation and have been regularly awarding project, research and thesis work for years.
